v-u-den Disbanding

美勇伝は、今年６月に予定しているコンサートツアーの最終日をもって、美勇伝としての活動を終了することになりました。

３年半余りの活動の中、３人が日々成長するにつれ、次のステップが３人の中でゆっくりと形作られてきました。プロデューサーのつんく♂との話し合いの結果、岡田唯が２０才を迎えたこのタイミングで美勇伝としての活動を終え、それぞれが次のステップへ向けて飛び出して行く、という事になりました。

Yes, it´s offical! I´m a bit sad about it... ;_; I liked not every song, but the most... ;_;

I'm not surprised v-u-den's sales are/were very bad.

Do you believe they can pursue a solo career?

i still think it sucks even if they had terrible sales
i liked v-u-den and i'm sad that i might not get to see more of Yui and Erika (but mostly Yui)

and i also think that this is a sign that H!P will soon disband more units and soon be left with like only 3!

it will be the end of all the "other" idols in H!P

hope some of them join AKB48 wouldn't that be neat?

Yeah, that would be interesting and more and more people think AKB48 will beat H!P soon.

I also think more groups are gonna disband. I think H!P will focus mainly on kiddies before totally disapear.

I was more into v-u-den are their beginnings when they were classy and glamish.

To wake up a bit the thread : what was your v-u-den best memories?

well when i got into H!P they already had the "sexy" image

but what i miss is that i never got to see innocent Yui

I think H!P goes under... I´m a bit sad... but the fact that many of the H!P groups displaced the release date for theire singles its a kind of sign for me... I hope I´m not right...

I wasn´t a v-u-den fan... but I liked some of theire songs... maybe I´ll buy the best of cd...

I agree with you Hellie. It's like the whole H!P is collapsing.
However the kiddies are still doing well (not particularly good tho)

I think H!P is about to stop its activities, once kiddies would not sell either.

And about v-u-den, it was really the 1st album period that I loved.
I started dislike them after with bullshits like Ice Cream & My Pudding (the song was that bad, but the bunnies outfits...yuck! )

... well... I think C-ute, Berryz and Morning Musume are the only groups which the most people know! The other are very unpopular... maybe Buono get more attention soon... But the rest isn´t so known...

Hmm...I think MM are known for what they've done in the past rather than what they do know. In Japan, for what I've heard people remember them for the old scool (2 1st albums) and the golden era (2002~2002).
Now they really don't sell a lot and postponing a MM single is too me a clue that the end is coming.

And indeed groups like v-u-den or Melon Kinenbi weren't that popular. Too bad.

I was not into the rockish-like style They've done something quite electrical and somehow eurobeat (a little) and then going to something rockish is to me a proof that Tsunku doesn't really know how to do with them.

And also Issai Gassai Anata ni A.ge.ru was postponed too, Tsunku focusing then on °C-ute.

i'm still a huge H!P fan so even tho i do think they are comming to an end i'm still sad about it
and i also hope the idols are able to do something afterwards

I wonder how it'll be. When I see how Bishoujo Club's members came out, I think most of H!P girls will fall into anonymity.
At least the oldest one until the kiddies will grow up.
