Here the thread were you could talk about anything about H!P, that you think doesn't fit the other threads.

yeah that way they can release singles realy fast. i've noticed that Koda Kumi is releasing singles very fast and shes becoming a huge hit so it's about time H!P start releasing like mad too

Is what they tried to do during the 7th gen period?
I really like this period, 'cause MM started not staying that exclusive of vocal leaders : for example, Tanaka has the leads on Shabondama, her debut single. On Namida Tomaranai Houkago, the leads were for Michshige and Konno (who never had leads before). So I found this interesting, they should have continue "shuffling" the lead singers on each singles like that.

There's also the Otomo/ Sakura Gumi splitting stuff which was great.

But you're actually talking about making a new unit every week for a single, and then disband it?

(That's the way I understood it, but I may be wrong)

not disband it, just change the members every week

so pretty much by like one year all of H!P should of participated in a single from that unit

Oh, OK, I think I understand what you mean know. It could be a really good idea, so that everyone could participate.
(It's a bit like Uta! Doki & Hello!Pro Hour purpose except that no single was released)

The problem is that I don't know if mass releasing like the Kumi's ~12 weeks singles~ will be good like you know, H!P general sellings are going pretty bad.
It can either make a huge hit or a big flop. And by now, i'm not sure UFA would take the risk.

About Kumi 12 releases. I personally think that the majority of the songs weren't that good. The only one I really like is D.D.D feat. SOULHEAD (<3)

also i think UFA should take more risks or how will they ever find out the next new "thing", see if they don't try anything then they are just gonna go down hill from this point T-T

But buisness is buisness I think they don't take risks anymore because of the bad sales.
They focus on what sells the most now : kiddies and anime theme.
That's a pity.

Btw, what do you guys think of H!P fan-base?

i think it's strange what they do lol and i don't like their chanting cuz it ruined Koi no Jubaku's live (and alot of other live songs)

other than that i think they are very helpful with sales
but also maybe they give a bad image to the fanbase

but i guess i would go crazy if i saw an H!P idol perform live (most likely not tho )

Not particularly, but actually yeah.
This kind of thing wasn't that strong in H!P golden age. If you watch some past concerts & perfs out, you'll see that H!P fanbase was much more "normal", I mean, they were all sorts of people : boys, girls, adults etc...

But I think tsunku deliberatly chose to focus on wotas, because they were at the time those who couldn't bring money to him the fastest, as they were buying all the goodies and limited stuff.

But in (at? on? dunno ) long term, I think that's what will kill H!P, coz wotas easily get fed up with the girls once they had grown up, and that's why Tsunku's picking girls younger and younger.

I think the "general audience" was less on buying all the limited stuff, but if H!P sells are so bad, I guess it's because H!P's proposing stuff only for that particular public, and not to the majority.

But at least I'd try to catch their attention (I guess I'm coming from France, I'd like 'em to see me )

agreed, i wonder if i'd be the tallest person there that would make anyone stick out right?

well the chanting is called "Wota Gei" i think, and i find it very annoying so i assume the idols are not that fond of it too.

Unless your like 1.90~2.00meters tall, I don't think in concert you be that stuck out
perhaps FC events would be easier to be stuck out, but these event arereally expensive!

Btw, being not japanese is itself the thing that could make you be more remarquable I think

Nonos baby was born yesterday! It´s a girl! Called Noa... I like the name Nono and Noa

Oh realy? YAY! how cute thats a nice name too, maybe she'll be an idol one day like her mommy

i don't know why but i was thinking she was gonna have a boy

Anyone on another forum said it´s a new MM Genaration... maybe she and her baby sing together in a few years

So the name basically means "sky of hopes", I like it
